Recently I watched the trailer of a new movie that is only coming to a few selected theaters. This movie is of course “Frontier(s)”. I have no idea what exactly the movie is about after long periods of googling, however after watching the trailer I am not too sure if I really want to see this movie.
The trailer for this movie was very interesting as it shows a hell of a lot of people screaming their heads off, feet getting cut off and people butchering the closest person to them with a axe. This trailer only had sound effects, screaming and music, there was absolutely no dialogue which makes it hard to tell if there is actually a story line to the movie. I think the trailer could have been made a bit better by adding some dialogue or some sort of narrator.
Anyway moving onto why this movie is so popular. With everything popular it is always surrounded by controversy, with “Frontier(s)” this controversy involves the fact that this movie is so violent, it does not fit into the restricted unless 18 years old or older category. Yes, you heard right, this movie is completely UNRATED!
If that doesn’t deter you away from the film then you really should check out the disgusting website(http://www.frontiersunrated.com). This website also contains a link where you can view select theater listings. This contains the special theaters that will be showing this highly controversial film. None of these are even close to where I live (Australia) however if it were, I would probably go see this film to see if it really deserved its unrated rating and what the story plot actually involves. If you want more information on this film, feel free to view the following website. (Frontier(s) - http://www.Bloody-Disgusting.com). However if you are easily scared, I do not recommend you go to that website.
To wrap this post up, “Frontier(s)” is a new horror film that people may or may not like and is completely unrated to due the volume of violence. There is a trailer at the bottom of this post if you wish to get a taste of this unrated film and I would recommend people to go see it especially if you love horror/scary films!

Looking at the cast of this movie I thought Vantage point would be really awesome as it contained a number of famous stars such as, Dennis Quaid, Mathew Fox and Forest Whitaker. I was slightly wrong with this hypothesis as the movie had a average story line and was the most repetitive movie ever! By repetitive I mean REPETITIVE! The film probably consisted of ten minutes worth of footage seen from 50 billion different angles and then digitally edited to produce this crappy movie.
The movie is supposed to be about two secret service agents (as seen directly below) who are assigned to protect the president at a global anti-terrorist summit and the moment the president gets shot these two agents collide with each other as one agent goes rogue. This rogue agent has a clever plan to get away with the assassination however being the ‘bad guy’ his plan obviously falls apart at some point in the movie which will not be revealed.
Now, I might have been harsh by calling it a bad movie, if you are the type of person who loves lost and 24 then you might like this movie slightly however for all of us normal people this is a pretty crappy movie and I wouldn’t recommend to go see this movie anytime soon. Although some people say “well it was a new idea they had a good try” well I have to say they are wrong, it seems as though the director wasn’t even trying at all as the movie contains heaps of factual, continuity and whatnot errors. For example when the camera is showing an aerial view of the plaza, some how each time they see it from a different perspective the shadows cast by the buildings change direction even though it is supposed to be within the same time frame. Another error is when the president presses the button on the lift, the light appears before he even presses it [insert a big WTF there]. There are so many errors I could go days on end talking about them and fill up your screen until you scroll for 50 billion years; however I shall refrain from this, even if it does sound fun.
Now for the review outcome, I would not recommend average, normal people to go see this unless you are a big fan of repetitive films or flashbacks. I give this movie a 1/5 star rating as it contains so many errors and the whole movie was pretty crappy.

Robert Neville (played by Will Smith) is an excellent scientist, but even he could not contain the horrible virus that spread like wild-fire around the world. Somehow immune, Neville tries to find a cure while surviving by any means necessary while being possibly the last man on earth. This is incredibly hard for Neville to cope with and has to find new ways to deal with the infected as they are watching his every step, waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Neville’s only mission on earth is to find a way to reverse these effects by using his own immune blood, but soon finds he is heavily outnumbered and is running out of precious time.

High School Musical 2 Official Website
High School Musical is back with a number two on the end and with more swing in some of the songs which is what makes High School Musical 2 ever so different from the original. The movie starts off by showing how much everybody loves summer and how important it is to get into a good college by taking up a summer job. Of course like any other film there are obstacles that arise during the movie; in this case it is the horrible, self -centred and rather childish Sharpay Evans (played by Ashley Tisdale). Although she wanted to experience her summer with Troy Bolton (played by Zac Efron) she didn’t realise that the whole wildcat team would follow, one by one she plans different schemes to get alone with Troy Bolton and one by one the plans fail. Now that is the basic story of High School Musical 2, however I still believe the film was a disaster.
High School Musical the first one was a television movie was one of the most watched premieres on the Disney Channel (it is said that 200 million people watched it). With being such a success it went onto becoming a stage version, a concert tour and an album which was the 2006 number #1 CD. The problem with High School Musical 2 is that any three year old could tell that High School Musical 2 was lip-synched from beginning to end which is what Walt Disney intended to do for some reason, possibly because the cast can’t really sing. This could also be so it encourages viewers to sing the songs for themselves in a future karaoke version. However lip-synching isn’t a problem for a Disney film it’s more the fact that the lip-synching was out of synch most of the time! Another problem with the film is the fake tans; most of the lead characters have a noticeable golden-orange tint which isn’t really a good role model for younger kids. With these two problems aside, I fear my biggest problem with the movie is that the acting is quite random and not entirely professional even from Zac Efron, of course this could be a problem with the script or director, however as an actor I believe they could all do a bit better.
Summary: I believe that in this world that most sequels are a lot worse than the original and just shouldn’t be made! Hopefully in High School Musical 3, the directors go for a more professional and natural approach to the film. In the film the songs are excellently composed and I hope they keep the composer for the future project. This film was a disappointment and I have given it a 3/5 star rating. Good Luck with High School Musical 3!
