Throughout the years i have been playing Counter Strike Source. Counter Strike Source is a computer video game developed by Valve Corporation. It is a remake and update of an older version of the game, which originally started as a modification of Half-Life, a single-player first person shooter. It is based around a team of counter-terrorists against a team of terrorists in a series of rounds. Each round is won by either completing detonating a bomb or rescuing hostages or by eliminating all members of the opposing team. You can buy this game from steam at the price of $19.99 US. Also there are groups of players which play together under a single name, usually displayed as a shortened version known as a “tag” in their in-game name which are called Clans. Clans are often made up of around 10 - 50 people.
Many people ruin the game by whats known as “hacking”. Hacking is when a player purposely runs a program, known as a “hack”, which is an unfair advantage against the other team. There are different types of hacks such as “aimbots”, which move the cross-hairs of the player automatically over other players, meaning the player no longer has to aim. “Wall Hacks”, which let you see directly through walls, are some of the most popular hacks. On most servers, hacking is not tolerated and you will be banned by a server. In order to fight against hacking or hackers, Valve introduced the VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) service. If caught hacking on a VAC secured server, a player can be globally banned from all VAC secured servers, requiring them to purchase the game again before they can join any VAC secured server. Any internet server can be VAC secured for free.
The requirements to play this game are:
Minimum: 1.2 GHz Processor, 256MB RAM, DirectX 7 level graphics card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection
Recommended: 2.4 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX 9 level graphics card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection
If anyone wants to hire a server or hire slots to play with their clans please let me know and i will get back to you as soon as possible

Pro Evolution or Winning Eleven known in many other countries, started off as a basic football (soccer) game in many arcades around the world. The fever spread around the world like wild fire and was soon ported for other gaming consoles and PC. I must admit I have only played the PS2 versions of the Pro Evolution series and over all these years I have been impressed with the amount of work that has been put into the soccer game.
Every year Konami (the developers of Pro Evolution) advance further and further into making a well simulated soccer game. They have taken the Pro Evolution series a step further with 2008 as its main feature is the new adaptive AI (Artificial Intelligence) called ‘Teamvision.’ This has revolutionised the soccer gaming industry as it allows the AI to adapt to the players style of play whether it be, learning new ways to attack, counter-attack or even to prevent previous defensive errors. This feature puts Pro Evolution 2008 ahead of FIFA 2008 as FIFA is more of a game where as Pro Evolution 2008 is a simulation of the real deal and you can now feel the excitement and even glory when you achieve a fantastic goal.
Another valuable improvement is inside the through pass or the triangle button for us PS2 players. The triangle pass now allows you to run onto the ball with more accuracy which allows well timed passes to look absolutely fantastic and real. In previous games the through pass looked rather fake as the controlled player passed at a set distance where as now you can control the strength in the pass. I also feel the short pass has now been improved to limit the distance where the controlled player can pass, previously you could actually do long passes with the short pass button which is kind of weird since it doesn’t live up to its name. However now the short pass can no longer do that (which is an improvement) which now helps the player in delivering an accurate pass to whomever the player wants the pass to be delivered to.
With Pro Evolution 2008 coming along way since its arcade days, it is hard to predict what other elements of the game can be improved/added to simulate a soccer game but I am sure Konami will think of something to blow the FIFA series out of the water once again. I will have to give Pro Evolution 2008 a 5/5 star rating since this game is absolutely outstanding in the game play section and enables the players to let his/her vision come to life.

World In Conflict is a new RTS (Real Time Strategy) Game which delivers intense action and coordinated team play while being in a war the world feared most, a show down between the Soviet Union and the United States. Generally I tend to steer away from RTS games as they bore me to hell, however this game is an exception as it is not your typical every day RTS. This game uses a more flowing RTS game style as you call in re-enforcements while raiding your next village or objective. The developers of World In Conflict have obviously worked a while on the graphics as they seem to be extensive and really realistic, which is not common in an RTS game.
You might be wondering at this point, what exactly is World In Conflict about? Well World In Conflict presents a chillingly authentic Cold War scenario where the Berlin Wall never fell. Created by Cold War authority and best-selling author Larry Bond, the story begins in 1989 as the Soviets, fearing certain collapse, boldly advance into Europe. NATO responds in force only to be met on a second front — a full-fledged invasion of the American homeland. Players take on the role of field commander, leading the era’s most powerful military machines in the campaign to retake America’s cities and suburbs.
Summary: War Of Conflict has amazing graphics for the style of game play while being able to run on a reasonable computer and has a fantastic story line based on the Cold War. I will have to give this game a 5/5 star rating as it is simply the best RTS game I have EVER seen. If you want to see if your computer can handle this amazing game simply look at the system requirements below posted for your convenience.

Sam & Max the well known hilarious comical characters have come back once more with Sam & Max Season 2! The first episode has been called “Ice Station Santa” where Sam & Max your favourite characters are back once more to fight the evil off the planet with any means necessary which is not a sentence that should be used around Sam & Max often. This episode starts gamers straight where it left off and gets the gamers strapped into the action without any delay. Without giving too much away the episode is absolutely hilarious with corny jokes all over the place and has strong unique swing music through out the beginning credits and ending credits. The story line follows Sam & Max while they defeat the evilest and meanest person in the universe… Santa Claus!
Not only has Santa Claus become evil but he is forcing the elves to outsource all products to the baby penguins, now we all know what happens when you outsource a product. The jokes within Sam & Max are hilarious, while sometimes going in circles and leading no where. The puzzles within the game, for me were pretty easy and straight forward so for gamers that are looking for a hard challenge might want to miss out on this game, but if you chose to then you are also missing out on the comedy. There is a hint system which gamers can turn off; this is for new gamers to the series as they may not have played Sam & Max games before or otherwise known as adventure games. Another handy feature for new gamers is the tutorial which is a first I have seen for adventure type games.
Summary: Sam & Max Season 2: Episode 1 Ice Station Santa brings comedy to a new level however it is advised that the whole of season 1 is completed first to get a grip of the game style and also to understand the story line as season 2 begins straight where season 1 ends. After completing the game in a matter of hours and having laughed my ass off, I am going to have to give Sam & Max Season 2: Episode 1 Ice Station Santa a 4.5 / 5 star rating. Why did they lose .5 of a star? Simply because they could improve the puzzles by making them a tiny bit less obvious however on the other hand, the team has done an excellent job with the game and I hope for a lot more memorable moments with Sam & Max.

With all these exciting new games coming out recently it is amazing to see another game in stores now! The new game is called “F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate Ships” and is likely to be a world wide hit like all the other past games that it is based on. We asked around and this is what they had to say:
In Perseus Mandate for Windows-based PC, players face off against new enemies as they take point on a second F.E.A.R. team investigating the mysterious paranormal phenomena at Armacham. Perseus Mandate features several frenetic multiplayer modes available to players online, as well as a deeply immersive single player storyline that runs parallel to the original F.E.A.R. and first expansion pack Extraction Point. The second expansion pack reveals a new perspective on the initial disturbance, challenging players to find out what Perseus actually is and why the Nightcrawlers have been called in to collect it.
The press release also comfirmed that F.E.A.R. Files, the expansion for the Xbox 360 will be released on November 15th. Which hopefully will be another kick ass release as the original game was and also a hit world-wide. F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate Ships is currently released world-wide on PC and Xbox 360.

Have you ever wondered what it was like to be in the army? Have you ever had questions about the army and the training they go through? Well now you can experience an army experience like never before! With the online game having developed a Co-op mode of the game a few versions ago and released a patch a few weeks ago to bring us to version 2.8.2. It contains a number of fixes and additions to the game in order to enhance our gaming experience. This game just has to be the one of the best if not the best FREE online game on PC, it has a number of features ranging to controls of a humv to the basic deathmatch options in a regular game and has been out for a while with no free game coming close to it.
It takes a while to get used to this game and there are specific training tasks the gamer has to complete in order to achieve maximum use of this games map play. For example the gamer will need to complete the Special Forces training before he/she can play the Special Forces Maps. However this is essential to prevent players or noobs coming onto servers and asking for help with the game. Also for users that might want to actually join the army in real life there is a section called “Real Heroes” which will tell a little bit more about soldiers lives that are in the army. In summary the game has good graphics, a nice netcode and a hell of a nice experience with the army.
