Frontier The Unrated Movie
Recently I watched the trailer of a new movie that is only coming to a few selected theaters. This movie is of course “Frontier(s)”. I have no idea what exactly the movie is about after long periods of googling, however after watching the trailer I am not too sure if I really want to see this movie.
The trailer for this movie was very interesting as it shows a hell of a lot of people screaming their heads off, feet getting cut off and people butchering the closest person to them with a axe. This trailer only had sound effects, screaming and music, there was absolutely no dialogue which makes it hard to tell if there is actually a story line to the movie. I think the trailer could have been made a bit better by adding some dialogue or some sort of narrator.
Anyway moving onto why this movie is so popular. With everything popular it is always surrounded by controversy, with “Frontier(s)” this controversy involves the fact that this movie is so violent, it does not fit into the restricted unless 18 years old or older category. Yes, you heard right, this movie is completely UNRATED!
If that doesn’t deter you away from the film then you really should check out the disgusting website(http://www.frontiersunrated.com). This website also contains a link where you can view select theater listings. This contains the special theaters that will be showing this highly controversial film. None of these are even close to where I live (Australia) however if it were, I would probably go see this film to see if it really deserved its unrated rating and what the story plot actually involves. To wrap this post up, “Frontier(s)” is a new horror film that people may or may not like and is completely unrated to due the volume of violence. There is a trailer at the bottom of this post if you wish to get a taste of this unrated film and I would recommend people to go see it especially if you love horror/scary films!
